Hello, I want to let you know about a fun, free online event coming up soon. I will be teaching two classes at the upcoming Rebecca Page Sewing Summit. For 5 days, there are free online classes for sewing projects for different sewing levels. You can find out more and register for the free summit here.

Beginner sewers will want to check out the class I will be teaching on how to make wristwarmers (beginner sewing project).

For intermediate sewers, I will be doing a demonstration on how to alter sleeve patterns to create a short puffed sleeve and bishop sleeve from a regular sleeve pattern. There will be a quarter-scale sleeve pattern available for you to print and follow along with during the lesson. I will introduce you to the “slash and spread” method of adjusting patterns to create more volume. This class is more about learning a new skill that you can apply to other sewing projects than creating a complete item.

There are lots of other classes from other instructors too, at varying skill levels. There are a few different bag projects, opera gloves, clothing projects and more! Be sure to check it out and register.
